Hospital Comfort Rooms
JJ’s Legacy™ Comfort Rooms are peaceful, private spaces created through the support of generous community partners and donors to provide comfort and privacy for donor families during the organ, eye, and tissue donation process.
These rooms offer families a quiet place to rest, reflect, gather together, and remain close to their loved one during one of life’s most emotional moments. Designed with compassion and care, the Comfort Rooms help provide dignity, support, and healing throughout the donation journey.

JJ’s Legacy Screening Room is currently available at:
• Houchin Community Blood Bank
JJ’s Legacy™ Screening Room at Houchin Community Blood Bank
JJ’s Legacy™ proudly partnered with Houchin Community Blood Bank to create the JJ’s Legacy™ Screening Room located inside Houchin donation centers. This welcoming and comfortable space was designed to support blood donors while also providing educational resources about organ, eye, and tissue donation.
The Screening Room serves as a peaceful area where donors can register for blood donations and learn more about the lifesaving impact of donation. Blood donations play a critical role in trauma care, surgeries, and supporting local organ transplant patients throughout our community.
Together, JJ’s Legacy™ and Houchin Community Blood Bank continue to partner on community outreach initiatives, educational efforts, and blood drives that help save and heal lives across Kern County.
Through these special spaces and partnerships, JJ’s Legacy™ continues its mission of bringing hope, healing, education, and compassion to donor families, recipients, and our community.
